A twenty-seven-piece hand-blown glass chandelier for a private club's dining room. Each piece made in Minneapolis. No two identical.
The commission began with a color study — the client wanted a specific amber warmth that would read as candlelight at dinner and as aged amber by day. Forty-six sample pieces were blown before the formula was approved.
The chandelier took six months to produce and four days to install. The rigging required a custom armature fabricated by a local metalworker — two studios collaborating on a single piece, a kind of work Mastercraft was built to make possible.
